Is there a minimum age to participate in the service project?
We encourage individuals and families, including children ages 8 or older, to come serve together! Due to the nature of the work, and the project’s location along Gorham Street, we do not recommend bringing children under the age of 8. Please note on the registration form how many people in your party will be attending.
Where do I park for the event?
The kick-off ceremonies will be at Butler Middle School (1140 Gorham Street, Lowell, MA). You may park in any of the parking lots around the school or in Edson Cemetery across the street from the school. Following the kick-off, we will walk across the street to Edson Cemetery (1375 Gorham Street, Lowell).
What should I bring to the event?
If you have a 2 inch wide paint scraper, please bring it with you. However, scrapers will be provided to anyone who needs one. Protective eyewear, such as sunglasses or work goggles, is suggested but not required. Water will be provided, but you may want to bring snacks.
What should I wear to the event?
Comfortable/old clothes to work in and closed-toed shoes. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants will help keep paint off your skin. Rubber gloves will be provided.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
